The D-shop is a subcommittee to InfU and is responsible for the production, inventory and sale for the D-guild’s patches, songbooks and merch, such as sweaters, caps and stickers. They are also responsible for the Guild’s overalls. The D-shops work is led by the Shopaholic, who works with a Patchy and Bard. The posts that are now open for application are Patchy and Bard. Role descriptions: Bard: As Bard you will work closely with the Shopalic and Patchy, and are responsible for updating the guild’s song book. Another big part of the job is to manage the shop’s inventory and sell available items. Patchy: As patchy you will work closely with the Shopaholic and Bard, and are responsible for the D-shop’s graphics by designing merch and patches for the guild. We organise gaming-pubs, badminton, running, lan parties, and much, much, more. Each Thursday 12.15 - 13.00 we have a lunch-meeting! On these meetings you have the opportunity to affect our events by speaking to the organizers. You also get a drink if you come to the meeting (smakis, soda, ramlösa, or similar). SRD or the Student Council is the D-guild's body responsible for education monitoring and standing up for students' rights. We gather students' voices and represent them to the school to ensure the education maintains high quality. Our meetings are open to everyone, meaning no prior registration is required, nor do you need to hold a position within the committee to attend. We have meetings (almost) every Wednesday from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM. The first meeting will be on January 22nd in E:1145, and all other meetings will take place in E:1123. There will be fika and meeting beverages (soda, etc.) available for everyone who attends. All positions within SRD (except for Head of SRD and Vice) have a term of office that corresponds to the academic year. If you are elected as an volunteer, your term will run from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. As an elected volunteer, you are entitled to benefits. To be elected as a volunteer, you need to accumulate 1 full point. You can earn ½ point through the following (you can do the same thing multiple times for a whole point): ½: Attend four meetings ½: Help cook during an SRD evening/study evening ½: Sew 10 DuCtig medals You can also become a volunteer by being a class representative. Class representatives monitor how courses are progressing for their year, gather students' opinions, and handle course evaluations. We want two more Entertainment Coordinators and one more Tandem Relay Team Captain so now you can apply again! Entertainment Coordinator is a post for you if you want to organise more cozy events, and events that are not covered by another post in the guild. It is very open, so being driven and creative is key! The Tandem Relay Team Captain cooperates with the union to facilitate the D-guild's participation in Tandem, which is an event during the spring.
