Do you like to sing, dance, paint, do makeup, make costumes or play an instrument? Then YOU have to apply to SåS! Sångarstriden (the Singers battle), or SåS for short, is a competition in singing and spex between all the different guilds at LTH! The competition will take place on the 6th of December and the D-guild will perform this year's best show after getting in second place again last year (only 4 points from winning!).
SåS is split up in to 3 different parts:
- Choir performance (singing a song in choir)
- Bordsvisa (writing and performing a drinking/sittning-song)
- Spex (a 12 minute performance of a comedic musical theatre)
This year our arch-nemesis the W-guild is not participating (unless anything unpredictable happens), but we still want to beat everyone else :)
In order to do this we need YOUR help in building props, making costumes, play instruments, sing and more! We have many different committees so there is something for everyone to do and everyone is needed!
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
The spex-performance will be performed in Swedish by the actors on stage so we would not recommend you to apply to this section if you are not comfortable with performing in Swedish. The bordsvisa will also (most likely) be in Swedish, however the choir is probably going to be performing in English!
