How to get information

ORBI and the introduction page are unfortunately not used after the introduction. The app and the website are what apply — here is a quick guide so you don't miss anything sent out.

The app is the quickest way to get notifications, see the calendar and read news. Available for both iOS and Android.

Subscribe to the calendar

Add the guild calendar to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or any calendar app — then every event shows up automatically.

Join Discord

Discord is where most of the chatter happens — planning, questions, memes and spontaneous hangouts. Every committee has its own channels.

Follow us on social media

We post photos, events and reminders on Instagram and Facebook. Many committees have their own accounts too.

Notification settings

Set this up once right after the introduction and you won't miss anything later. Everything except Discord lives under Profile > Settings.

Pick your news tags

Every news post is tagged with what it's about. Subscribe to the tags you care about — start with all of them and drop the ones you tire of.

Pick what you get notified about

You can turn each kind of notification on and off separately, for example new articles, comments and mentions.

Turn on push in the app

Push requires the app. Turn push on for the notification in settings, then allow notifications for the app in your phone's system settings.

Set up Discord

Discord notifies you about everything by default. Right-click the server or a channel and choose what to follow — it gets much calmer.
