Advent of Code and the dJulkalender
Published 12/1/2024
Do you like advent calendars? Do you also enjoy programming and problem-solving? Then we have not one, but two fun December activities for you!
Advent of Code
The first is Advent of Code, a site that releases two problems a day from December 1st to 25th, which you are free to solve in any way you like. The problems typically start off easy but become trickier as the days go by. Perhaps this is the perfect opportunity to test your newfound (or old?) Scala skills?
Join the D-guild’s own leaderboard* on adventofcode.com/leaderboard/private using the code 2321388-2646ec81
(account needed, you can log in using for example GitHub), and follow the standings at aoc.dsek.se!
*The leaderboard has been reset from previous years, so if you’ve joined before, you’ll need to rejoin!
dJulkalendern
Our friends at the Konglig Datasektion at KTH have put together a CTF competition running throughout December: dJulkalendern! Use any tools and resources at your disposal to solve the challenges as quickly as possible, and you just might become Best at DATA™!
